Edinburgh and the Lothian Samaritans hold regular information events with a view to explaining the work of Samaritans to potential volunteers and others who are interested in what we do. 

These events comprise informal sessions where two or three speakers provide an overview of how the branch works finishing with a usually lively question and answer session.  Names are taken of those who wish to attend a selection event (as described in "training" see link opposite)

All information events are held at the branch, at 25 Torphichen Street, Edinburgh. Remember that the events are not just for those interested in volunteering - you can bring along a partner, friends or relatives.  There are suitable facilities for anyone who will attend using a wheelchair.
