Photo of young sad looking personIn Scotland during 2005 sadly the rate of suicide was more than double the rate of our English neighbour.  At more than 33 per 100,000 there were between 2 and 3 deaths per day.

More people in the Lothians’ 15-24 age group die from suicide than from any other cause including road accidents, cancer, aids or meningitis.
